Autonomy is key for women to have the right to their own body and a life free of violence. Autonomy is not something that builds up on its own. We understand autonomy as a path under construction, which is laid out by strengthening women’s movement and organization. Facing violence and the control over women’s bodies means facing the racist and patriarchal capitalist system.
